Our mission goes beyond selling swimwear. We were founded with the purpose of being a vehicle for marine conservation. We understand that we can't simply take resources (even recycled ones) without giving something back. That's why we've designed a business model where your purchase generates a ripple effect of positive impact.

More than a trend, a movement

When you wear one of our designs, you become a true ambassador for the ocean.

You're not just getting a high-quality, stylish technical garment; plenty of other brands offer that. For us, what's important is that your purchase has a real and tangible positive impact. No fine print, no greenwashing, and no eco-posturing (which is all the rage these days!).

We are not perfect and we know that we still have a lot to learn, but we have firm principles on which we have built Antara Ocean and on which we will continue to work.

Swimming against the current: being critical of reality

One of the things we dislike most about the fashion industry is the large amount of misleading advertising:

• Garments that are supposedly made with recycled materials, when only a tiny proportion of the fabric actually is (it's easy to use the term ECO without proving it).
• Lack of transparency with the production process (which is sold as local when only the finishing or labeling is done here).
• Supposedly "green" brands that use highly polluting production processes to reduce costs and send their garments wrapped in plastic.

And a long etcetera of examples of "bad practices" using your environmental conscience to enrich oneself without scruples.

A genuine commitment to conservation

At Antara Ocean, we transform profits into direct action. We are committed to donating 15% of our annual profits to organizations dedicated to marine conservation.

In addition, we actively participate in the organization and funding of beach cleanups.

This means that, when you buy your swimsuit, you are directly financing:

Beach and seabed cleanups

Removing plastics and other marine debris to prevent harm to animals and the seabed.

And also preventing them from ending up coming back to us in the form of microplastics.

Species protection

Helping to preserve the habitats and animals that inspire our prints.

Research and education

Supporting projects that seek long-term solutions for the health of our seas.

A virtuous circle

The cycle is simple yet powerful: we collect waste from the planet to make swimsuits, and by selling them, we fund the cleanup of more waste. It's a circular economy that benefits everyone: you, the local economy, and, above all, the ocean.
